The Potting Shed
The Potting Shed is The Astbury’s very own on-site café. It’s the perfect place to grab your pre-golf refreshments, stop to refuel mid-morning, or simply grab a coffee as you stroll around our beautiful grounds.

Founded in 1890, sourcing it’s meat & produce only from quality endorsed local sources. Their produce is used throughout all of our offerings at The Potting Shed, including our famous Bacon Baps & 6oz Steak Burgers.
Salopian Brewery

Established in 1995 on the site of the old Onions Dairy. Founded by Martin Barry, something small has really flourished into what is now an Internationally renowned brewery & Tap Room. Six core products incorporate everything which creates the bedrock of Brewing – Flavour, drinkability, consistency & dependability. From the range our Potting Shed stock – Shropshire Gold, Darwins Origin & Oracle.
Ludlow Brewery

Since 2006, Ludlow Brewing Company have been crafting original cask, keg and bottled beers with the finest ingredients, including locally grown hops. Ludlow Brewery’s perfectly balanced range of beers includes our multi-award-winning flagship beer Ludlow Gold, the original stalwart of the brewery’s range along with Boiling Well, named after a legendary local spring. Both of which can be found in our Potting Shed local beer section.
Iron & Fire Coffee

Founded in 2014 and based on one man’s love for coffee, Iron & Fire pride themselves on carefully selecting the beans which they use based not only on flavour & profile, but also on their origins & accreditations. We are lucky enough to stock both their Brazilian & Colombian beans in our Potting Shed, which allows us to offer our customers variation in how their coffee tastes.

A family run business since 1978, Mawley Town Farm is a forward thinking Dairy Farm, who pride themselves on sustainability. Using innovative technology to allow their cows the very best quality of life – happy cows means good milk! This fantastic milk works perfectly with our specialty coffees in The Potting Shed.
